about esther
"Work honestly, meditate everyday, meet people without fear, and play.” this lesson from Baba Hari Dass forms the bedrock of how I teach and work with clients.
I started working therapeutically in 2015, completing my yoga teacher training with the Biomedical Institute of Yoga and Meditation in Brisbane, Australia, later undergoing additional training with a focus on therapeutic pranayama and the energetic body. Since then I have trained in kundalini yoga and trauma-informed yoga and studied with leading teachers across Australia and the US.
I gained my Master of Social Work at the University of Melbourne and complex grief led me in my late twenties to Jungian psychoanalysis. This practice involves dreams, archetypes, shadow, the interpersonal and the transpersonal on the road to becoming the self - individuation.
I am currently a candidate at the C.G. Jung Institute of New England, a rigorous training program to become a Jungian analyst of whom there are only around 3000 practicing across the world. I offer Jungian analysis under supervision from a senior analyst at the Institute.
I do not prescribe medications.
I cannot wait to be in conversation with you.
